Annotations
Lets users place quick annotations on the map: text labels, arrows, rectangles, ellipses and freehand strokes. Annotations are decoration — ideal for pointing things out — and are saved with the map in an “Annotations” layer.
Looking to edit real layer features — attributes and geometries — instead? Use the Feature editor widget.

What end-users see
Section titled “What end-users see”A highlighter button in the corner you picked folds and unfolds the toolbar. The toolbar offers exactly the tools you allowed, starting with your default color and width; an undo and a clear button remove annotations. Annotations present when you saved the map are published with it.
