Minimap
An overview inset that follows the main map — a small companion map at a wider zoom, so end-users always know where the current view sits in its surroundings.
Parameters

| Open by default | Whether the inset starts unfolded or as a button. |
| Zoom offset | How much wider the inset’s view is compared to the main map. |
| Position | The map corner the widget lives in. The inset always unfolds toward the inside of the map. |
What end-users see
Section titled “What end-users see”A minimap button in the corner you picked; opening it reveals the overview inset beside it. The inset follows every pan and zoom of the main map. Folding or unfolding it stays local to their session.
