Organization settings
These settings apply to everyone working in the organization you are currently in. They are read by admins and owners, and some of them are the owner’s alone. What is yours and follows you everywhere is on the Personal settings page.
General
Section titled “General”The identity of your active organization, its name first. Only the owner can change it.
Branding
Section titled “Branding”The banner and the logo your team sees when they open ALIGN. It makes the difference visible between two organizations you belong to.
Members & Teams
Section titled “Members & Teams”Invitations, roles, spending caps and teams. It has its own page: Members & Teams.
Integrations
Section titled “Integrations”Provider keys held by the organization, for everyone to use, and the decision of what members may connect on their own account. An organization that centralizes its Mapbox key here spares each member the setup, and keeps the billing in one place.
AI Models
Section titled “AI Models”The models this organization allows. Members then choose from that list in their own settings.
Datastore
Section titled “Datastore”Two organization-wide decisions about your data.
Metadata defaults are the values every new item inherits: the contact organization, and the other fields you would otherwise retype on each layer. A member can override an inherited value, or hand it back by clearing the field. Your organization can also make a value a rule, and it is then shown but not editable. See The page of an item.
AI indexing decides whether items are indexed automatically so the assistants can find them by meaning rather than by name. When it is off, an item can still be indexed one at a time, by whoever can edit it, from its Metadata tab.
The Datastore Bin is also decided here: whether deleted items wait before they are removed, and how long they are kept. With the Bin off, deleting is immediate and final. See Datastore.
Plans & Capacity, Usage, Billing
Section titled “Plans & Capacity, Usage, Billing”The three settings sections that decide what your organization can do and what it pays. They have their own page: Plans, usage & billing.
