Bookmarks
Named map views — position, zoom, tilt and rotation — that you author and publish with the map. End-users jump between them with one click; you decide whether they can also save their own views.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”| Parameter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Capture current view | Frame the map, then capture: the current camera (center, zoom, tilt, rotation) becomes a named bookmark, with a small snapshot of the view as its thumbnail. Rename, reorder and delete entries in the list. |
| End-users can add bookmarks | Lets end-users save their own views from the widget. Their bookmarks stay local to their session — your published list never changes. |
| Position | The map corner the widget lives in. The panel always unfolds toward the inside of the map. |
What end-users see
Section titled “What end-users see”A bookmarks button in the corner you picked, opening the list of your published views with their thumbnails; clicking one flies the map to the saved camera (3D tilt and rotation included). If you allowed it, a Save current view action adds their own entries — thumbnail included — for the duration of their session.
