Plans, usage & billing

A plan always belongs to an organization, never to a person. Each of your organizations has its own plan, its own credit balance and its own allowances, and nothing is shared between them. If you belong to two organizations, you work under two different plans depending on which one you are in.

Everything below lives under Settings, in the Organization group.

This is where you change your plan, and where you adjust what your organization can do: the number of editor and viewer licences it holds, and the capacity it needs on each metered resource. Changes are assembled together, so you see what your organization will cost before anything is charged.

The plans themselves, what each one includes and what it costs, are on the pricing page, which is the reference. Billing can be monthly or yearly.

Four resources are metered, and the Usage page has one view per resource:

ResourceWhat it counts
CreditsWhat the AI assistants consume.
Geocoding & routingAddress lookups and route calculations.
StorageWhat your Datastore holds, items in the Bin included.
TrafficThe data that leaves ALIGN.

Each view breaks the number down where it matters: credits by member, storage by member, traffic between your published maps and apps, and everything else. Everything else is worth knowing, because it explains a number that would otherwise be a mystery: downloads and exports from the Datastore, external clients of your OGC services, and the relays ALIGN uses to fetch services that a browser could not reach on its own.

The page follows your billing cycle, and you can look at another period.

Subscription holds the payment method and the state of your subscription. Invoices lists your invoices, downloadable as PDF. Both are read by admins and owners; the actions belong to the owner.

Credits and the other allowances are attached to the organization and refill with its billing cycle. An organization without a paid subscription cannot buy credits, packs or add-ons.

When an organization approaches a limit, ALIGN tells it rather than letting the work stop without explanation. Who receives that message is set in your personal notification settings.

Creating your first organization starts your free month and gives that organization a one-off starter budget, so you can try both builders before choosing a plan. The conditions, the duration and what happens at the end are in the pricing page and in the Consumer Terms.

The Right of withdrawal section of the settings covers the legal withdrawal period for a consumer purchase, and what it returns. Because it is a contractual matter, the section itself and the Consumer Terms are the reference, not this page.
